If these new reports are true, R. Kelly is drowning in back child support payments. According to ex-wife Andrea, he owes a whopping $114,900.
Andrea, a star on VH1′s reality show “Hollywood Exes,” stepped up her efforts to collect the funds by teaming up with Project Child Support officials. Allhiphop.com reports the nonprofit organization conducted an investigative report to determine Kells’ income and assets.
“We will provide Mrs. Kelly’s attorney with the terms and conditions we provided in other cases where the Court granted enforcement orders to enable the collection of arrears for our clients,” said Virginia M. Rucinski, president of the Custodial Support Foundation and Project Child Support initiative.
In response to the claims, the R&B star’s publicist said, “Mr. Kelly is current on his child support payments.”
“The Custodial Support Foundation should check their facts,” the spokesperson said.
Kelly and Andrea, who were married from 1996 to 2009, have three children together.
