The mayor of Norwood has been receiving social media backlash, after his letter to the city’s police was shared on the internet.
In the letter he wrote, Mayor Tom Williams expressed his support for the local enforcement despite the negative fashion some critics portray them as. He also urged them to be extra cautious while on duty.
Mayor Williams felt compelled to express his thoughts, because he thinks police officers “are under attack by race-baiting black leaders and cowardly elected officials”.
