The family of Samuel DuBose has filed paperwork for a wrongful death lawsuit against the UC officer that shot him.
Attorney Mark O’Mara, who represents the family, told WLWT that an estate is being opened in probate court to “pursue a claim for wrongful death.” The estate would benefit Samuel’s children.
Ray Tensing, the UC officer that shot DuBose, is currently under indictment for murder and is awaiting trial.
