The Chicago police officer who shot Laquan McDonald has a new job.
Jason Van Dyke has been hired as a janitor for a Chicago chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, according to sources. He would be paid 12 dollars an hour.
Van Dyke is currently stripped of any police powers, and is on unpaid leave, since being accused of shooting 17 year-old Laquan McDonald of Chicago.
