The Notorious B.I.G started a three week run at number one on the Billboard singles chart with his posthumous hit, “Hypnotize”.
This was the first single from his album, Life After Death, which was released just weeks after his death in March of 1997.
His album was certified “diamond” in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America.
